Over 12 years of working in gardens means we have developed a sense of what works, and what doesn’t. Our experience lies in designing and creating usable growing spaces, especially for persons with additional needs, making the garden accessible, and helping everyone to be involved.
We will also work along with you, helping you return to your roots and get more from your personal growing season. Need a little advice on your crop rotation, organic pest management, soil fertility or composting? We can help you increase productivity but at the same time lower maintenance, making the garden less about the to-do list, with space for a more mindful experience.
Case Study: 100 Year Old Garden
It is a privilege to work in the beautiful surroundings of an old estate on the picturesque Strandhill peninsula. Right beside the sea, this coastal garden has a confident history. Knocknarea mountain backs the estate, protecting it from any cold North winds or weather. The local limestone rocks pop up amongst the flowers. Gravel paths meander throughout the flower beds, and the layout has remained unchanged in over 100 years, staying true to the original design. A traditional Edwardian feel comes to the fore with the planting of roses, aromatic sweet peas, sweet william dianthus and tall foxgloves.
Space to Grow are found there weekly, busy propagating, pruning, and hoeing. Happily working amongst the flowers. Preserving this unique garden for future generations.
